MAY  18,  SATURDAY   -   BAILLIE-BIRD-A-THON -   (Rain Date May 19)

Need Leaders!  Need Pledges!  This is an MFN fundraiser so if you can’t count birds, count loonies and toonies and make pledges!

Meet at Kerr Park at 7:00 a.m.to divide into teams and carpool.

Lagoon sightings will be first on the list before moving on to traditional birding locations.  

The goal is to count species, not birds, so we try and cover a lot of territory!

ANNUAL WEEKEND ADVENTURE

May 24, 25 and 26

This year we travel to the Ottawa area for a look at the bird and plant species that inhabit our nation’s capitol.

Arrive Friday – There will be a walk at Britannia Conservation area.

Saturday Morning – Birding will take place in the area east of Ottawa.

Sunday Morning – There will be a walk which will include botany and more birding in the area west of Ottawa.

  Reservations can be made anytime at the Best Western Hotel where a block of rooms have been reserved for our group.
